With beginnings as a professional musician, Dorothy picked up her first accounting job at 18. She has had plenty of experience in the field, between bookkeeping, banking, public accounting, and tax preparation. She earned her Bachelors in Accounting from Ashford University and passed the Registered Tax Exam. She has over thirty years of experience in public accounting, and most recently was the head of the accounting department for two major companies. But she’s never forgotten her musical beginnings, and still plays music every day! She has lived in several different places, including Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, and California, so she is an expert at adapting to new and changing situations. She is a seasoned accountant with a solid, creative understanding of how a business needs to be run, the skills to analyze financials, and the ability to implement new management integrated processes to completion.
